THE PADDOCK BAKERY;

Last weekend I headed up to the Gold Coast to catch up with some family and had several occasions where I was able to head out, explore and catch a glimpse of what Gold Coast (in regards to cafes & food) has to offer.

One of the first cafe’s we went to was the Paddock Bakery in Burleigh Heads. Once arriving it gave off a vibe similar to that of the Grounds, just toned down. Same kind of atmosphere to theĀ Grounds outdoor, take away area. We grabbed a table in the garden under theĀ sun and had a browse over the menu. Already grabbing a take away coffee from the cart out the front we sat and looked over the menu as we waited for my cousin to arrive with her two little ones. The sun was beautiful that day. It was your perfect Spring morning, we even managed to get a little sun kissed colour on our faces.

We all ordered something different, I couldn’t steer away from the hot dog as I received a photo the day earlier from my mum mentioning that I needed to try it out. My sister ordered the egg soldiers and the others grabbed the purple toast and the scrambled eggs. All arrived in those bio degradable cardboard plates/boxes and the egg soldiers in an egg carton (looked very cute). Grabbing a second round of coffee and the freshly squeezed juice to refresh us after a couple of hours in the sun.

We had a lovely morning, lovely company and lovely weather. It made for a beautiful and relaxing start to the day. I found the Paddock Bakery very pleasant and everyone seemed to think the same. It was very busy and I noticed that people were turning up constantly throughout making it seem like a must be area.
